| Parents of the Groom: Jim and Mary Hightower - There has always been plenty of joy, laughter, and delicious food in the Hightower household and Jeff is a product of that. Though Jeff's mother Jude sadly passed away in 1998, he couldn't be happier about the amazing step-family that came into his life when Jim and Mary got married in 2004 bringing Jeff four great step-sisters to add to his two biological sisters. Jim and Mary live in Fort Collins, Colorado with their kitty Emma. They are gradually finishing their new house, doing lots of travelling, and enjoying being grandparents. |

Parents of the Bride: Norwyn and Barbara Newby - In 1977, after a very difficult birth, Norwyn and Barbara raised Chelsea, and, as the verdict goes, they did a wonderful job! It wasn't easy however, so they are relieved to finally be enjoying their retirement by skiing, hiking, and travelling--in their motor home and overseas. They are also busy making the world a better place through volunteer work. Norwyn and Barb live in Bend, Oregon with their two dogs, Joey and Clancy. |

| Minister: Hil Kaman - Hil will officiate the ceremony using the
power vested in him by the State of Oregon and the internet Universal Life
Church. Jeff and Hil have been friends since second grade. Hil is a
contemplative philosopher and an expert thinker with bachelors and masters
degrees in German literature. (Bitten Sie ihn um seine Meinung von
Friedrich Nietzsche, wenn Sie ihn treffen.) However, a common activity for
Hil today is jailing people for driving on suspended licenses, this being a
recurring task in the City of Everett Prosecutors' Office where he works
while finishing law school. Hil and his fiancé Shannon live in
Everett, WA, north of Seattle. |

Maid of Honor: Jennifer Smith - Jennifer and Chelsea have been friends since Junior High. They were bonded by how much trouble they got into while skiing "out of control" or writing notes to each other in class. Jennifer has now matured into a Seattle professional where she assists with financial advising for Merrill Lynch. She always comes on the family camping trips and has become an expert at digging trenches around the tents, so she's very useful! |

| Best Man: Dave Jackson - One of Chelsea and Jeff's first big adventures together as a couple was a multi-day whitewater raft trip with Dave and his wife Heather through Cataract Canyon on the Colorado River in Utah. Dave and Jeff have known each other since high school and they share the same outdoor adventure spirit (particularly when rivers are involved), a love of good pirate jokes, and a fascination with power tools. Dave and Heather live in Aurora, Colorado where he is in medical school at CU Health Sciences. |

Bridesmaid: Jenni Hawbecker - Jenni is Chelsea's older sister, although she doesn't look it. When Jenni was 22 and Chelsea was 15, Jenni was the one who got carded when going into a rated R movie! Other than being an expert nose-spoon-balancer, Jenni is fluent in Spanish, has travelled to more countries that most people can name, and she's currently busy getting a PhD in Education. Jenni lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband Mike and their cat Opal. |

| Groomsman: Ryan Gilmartin - Ryan has been Jeff's friend since high school. Ryan is a talented artist who has exhibited work in shows around the country. He has a BFA in painting from Colorado State University. Curiously, Chelsea has a picture of Ryan in her scrapbook from long before she met Jeff. She and her friend Christin took a snapshot of themselves with an attractive waiter at the Rio Grande restaurant who was dressed as a ballerina, perhaps because it was Halloween. Ryan expresses himself in his art, works as a florist, and remodels their house as his wife Bird attends medical school. They live in Hershey, Pennsylvania. |

Bridesmaid: Darcy Pintar - Being Chelsea's younger sister, Darcy was always her favorite sibling rival while growing up. Over the years, they've probably walked over a hundred miles together after Dad kicked them out of the car for fighting and made them walk home. Since these two get along great now, Darcy has put her talents to better use by helping children as a family art therapist. She lives near Seattle with her husband Patrick and their dog Ruffles. |

| Groomswoman: Jenny Hightower - Jenny is the peanut butter of the Hightower siblings, the middle child between older Jeff and younger Jessica. Jeff and Jessica would constantly squish her both literally, like on long van rides across the country to see their grandparents, and figuratively, "Mom she's looking at me again!" Jenny is a professional modern dancer with a BFA from the University of Colorado. She is also a très fantastique coffee barista. She and her girlfriend Brooke live in Denver. |

Bridesmaid: Christin Chapman - Christin is the number one reason why Chelsea loved veterinary school so much! When they weren't up until 3am studying, they were shaking their stuff on the bar at the local hangout or hiking up a 14,000 foot peak in a snowstorm. Even though Christin is currently in the middle of a grueling residency to become a veterinary ophthalmologist, she is still the life of the party! She lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her dog Finn. |

| Groomswoman: Jessica Hightower - Jessica is Jeff's baby sister. He bought her a stuffed rabbit she called "Bubby." She carried around Bubby for years until all that remained of Bubby was some loving memories and a few shreds of drool-soaked pink cloth. Somewhat more recently, Jessica and her husband Josh moved to Portland, Oregon after she finished her BFA in modern dance at the North Carolina School of the Arts. (Go Fighting Pickles!) Jessica is a professional modern dancer and works in early childhood development. |

Usher: Ben Kimbell - Ben is a computer nerd, just like Jeff. They've known each other for at least 14 years. Ben manages an engineering team at a high-end security camera firm after a previous job designing digital cameras for Hewlett Packard. He was the first person Jeff knew to shackle himself into the bonds of holy matrimony, and he seems to have done a fantastic job of it. Ben, his wife Kathy, and their kids Tyler, Ryan, and Katelyn live in Fort Collins, Colorado. |

| Usher: Tom Worrall - Tom is the other half of the dynamic ushing duo. Jeff and Tom have known each other since high school where they both did theater construction and played viola. Tom collects rubber chickens. Tom is a pediatrician and lives with his wife Christina in Cypress, Texas. |

Ring Bearer: Smiley - Smiley, a.k.a. Monkey Boy, is Jeff and Chelsea's four-legged son. He has been preparing for his role as ring bearer with grueling exercises such as eating 3/4 cups of food twice a day, running around, marking his territory, grooming himself, sleeping in a variety of yoga positions, and sitting like a human. |

| Flower Girl: Ruffles - Darcy and Patrick's dog Ruffles is Jeff and Chelsea's niece. She, like Smiley, has been dedicated in preparing herself to carry flowers by constantly carrying her stuffed duck-duck around, never letting her grip slip. She enjoys long walks in the dogpark, chew toys, and getting caught in the rain. |
